Summer vacations are made for exploration, expanding your horizons, and adventure, whether on your own, with a mate, or with the whole family.
This summer, Coppola Resorts is offering an irresistible enticement to make your stay with us more alluring than ever. Guests at our Central American properties will enjoy some great benefits, starting May 1 and lasting all the way through December 15, 2015.
At La Lancha, the special offer we’re featuring is:
Resort Credit Offer
For guests traveling on their own or with a friend or loved one, we are offering a $100 resort credit per room for stays of four nights or more and $50 resort credit for stays of two or three nights.* This credit can be used however you'd like to spend it – whether it be dining, tours, or activities.
Tucked into a cliff overlooking Lake Petén Itzá, La Lancha is perfectly situated as a hub for activities throughout the region, including the famous Tikal ruins which are a must-see for guests of any age. A day trip to the impressive Maya ruins of Tikal provides a history lesson that makes learning much more fun than in any classroom. We provide easy access to the sites of Tikal and a team of first-rate guides to lead you on your journey of a lifetime.
As we’re right on the lake, there are no shortage of opportunities for fun on the water as well -- just jaunt down the hill and enjoy our canoes, jump or swim in the cool waters, and the grownups can sip a cocktail at our new lakefront al fresco bar. A host of wildlife is literally at your doorstep here at La Lancha, just sitting on the porch of your Lakefront or Rainforest Casita affords some prime viewing of a variety of species, including exotic birds (ever seen a blue-crowned motmot, rufus-tailed jacamar, red-crowned ant tanager, or a pale-billed woodpecker?), and of course, our famous howler monkeys.
We also offer horseback riding at La Lancha on an adjacent 70-acre farm, both at sunset or early morning. This guided ride will take you through hilly pastoral land used for cattle ranching and into the lush tropical forests that hug the hillsides overlooking Lake Petén Itzá. Your guide will point out medicinal plants as you ride along in view of small overgrown Maya ruins bearing witness of the region’s ancient inhabitants.
*The offer above is not combinable with other offers or promotions and is subject to availability. Resort credit is not applicable to room charges, and amount is per stay, per room.
